With no real plot to speak of, this is a true beat-’em-up game. Engage in side-scrolling, one-on-one close combat in a series of best two out of three matches. To win the matches you must drain your opponent’s ‘vitality’ before the timer runs out. Every third match in single player mode leads to a bonus level where you participate in different mini-games. Unlike its predecessor, you can choose between multiple different characters with their own fighting style and special moves. This installment also introduced the concept of combination attacks.
